2141 Sea Island Pkwy., Harbor Island

This is your general beach bar and
grill. It primarily serves as a local
restaurant for the people who live on Fripp
and Harbor Islands. There is live music from
time to time. The atmosphere is great.

1929 Sea Island Pkwy, Harbor Island

This is open for lunch only. This is a true
Beaufort restaurant. This is where the
locals go on the way to the beach or if they
are out boating. It is a true authentic
restaurant serving the freshest, best
seafood around. It is a definite must if you
are near the beach or on St. Helena’s
Island.
This restaurant has been around for as long
as I can remember. It has always been known
to have the freshest seafood, as it, just
like Dockside, is right next to more shrimp
docks. These docks are supposedly where
Forrest Gump's Jenny lives, but I have heard
that she has taken a new name to avoid the
publicity.

1699 11th St., Port Royal
(843) 524-7433
This is a local restaurant on Battery Creek.
It is known for having the best seafood,
partly because it shares a dock with the
local shrimp boats. Everything is as fresh
as it can be. There is a local seafood
market next door with the day's catch ready
to be sold. I recommend the shrimp and blue
crabs.
It also has a dock, so you can drive right
up from your boat and grab a bite.
This restaurant is in Port Royal, which is
like a suburb of Beaufort to the south. It
is a 10-minute drive, so you cannot walk
here. It is, however, a great place if you
have a car or boat. Also, the clam chowder
is supposedly the best item on the menu.
